Examination of a selection of the different varieties of English spoken throughout the world. These include a selection of English native speakers including British and Australian. Also, the non-native varieties such as Singaporean, Indigenous and Indian. The differences between varieties in terms of their pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and their socio-cultural roles are explored and analysed. -- Course Website
